A new version of the Evasi0n 7 jailbreak tool has been released by the “Evad3rs” developer team, offering untethered jailbreaking support for the iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C running iOS 7.0.5.
While the new Evasi0n utility release also supports prior versions of iOS 7, it is primarily aimed at international iPhone models running the newest 7.0.5 release. Users may recall that iOS 7.0.5 is not available for everyone and for all devices, instead it was recently released for international iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C devices, and offered several network related bug fixes. Accordingly, the 7.0.5 release is not currently available for US-based iPhones or any other iPad or iPod touch device, leaving those models with 7.0.4 as their most recent version.
Instructions for using the new Evasi0n tool are basically the same as jailbreaking iOS 7.0.4 using the same utility, just be certain to download the new version of the evasion tool from the links below before beginning the process.
The new Evasi0n tool is versioned as 1.0.5, and is available for Mac OS X and for Windows. A Linux version may be released in the future. The links below are those provided by Evad3rs and are hosted on a third party site.

Jailbreaking uses third party exploits to bypass Apple’s restrictions on iOS devices, thereby allowing users to modify and customize the iOS experience beyond what is typically capable. There are many reasons users choose to jailbreak their devices, and there are also plenty of reasons not to do it, but ultimately it’s a matter of individual user preference. Generally speaking, there is little benefit to jailbreaking for most casual iPhone users, and typically it’s best reserved for more advanced individuals who like to tinker with their devices.
